Lately I've been going to other blogs for activity ideas to do with Sam. Sometimes he'll sit on my lap and we'll look at the blogs together. Sam likes to talk about the pictures and the kids. Today I did a little blog hopping and found this post on a classroom activity. It gave me the idea to root through the books we picked up this week at the library. Sam and I decided that's we'd sit down to read "The Mixed Up Chameleon" by Eric Carle and then make our own mixed up Chameleon. I have a soft spot for chameleons for as a child my brothers and I would occasionally find them in our garden, often in our citrus trees. I've always been fascinated by them.

My mixed up chameleon. I decided to make him not so mixed up, and hanging out in my garden. I think it's fun doing the activity with Sam. :) That being said I think I need to go out and pick up more water colour paper!
